The Rhythm of Life in Sonoma

Life among the vineyards has changed us in the best ways. Come along as we share why Sonoma has become a place that feels like home.

There’s something incredibly grounding about waking up to vineyards each morning and ending the day with the sun setting over the vines. For years, Sean and I dreamed about finding a place where we could feel more connected to the land, and somehow we were lucky enough to find that here in Sonoma.

Living among the vineyards has changed the rhythm of our days. We start our mornings with coffee on the porch, watching the light move across the rows, and often end the evening with a walk through the vineyard as the air cools and the sky turns golden. It’s a simple routine, but it’s one that continually reminds us to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us.

One of the things we’ve learned since moving here is just how connected everything is. The seasons, the weather, the wildlife, and the vineyards — they all influence one another. Being so close to that cycle has deepened our appreciation for farming and for the wines we create. It has also inspired us in new ways. With Elle now leading our winemaking program, we’re excited about exploring new vineyard sites, new ideas, and wines that tell the story of this place we love.

Beyond the vines, we’ve fallen in love with the sense of community that Sonoma offers. We’ve met wonderful neighbors, welcomed a few furry and winged visitors along the way, and created a space where friends, family, and fellow wine lovers can gather around a table and share a meal. Those moments of connection have always been at the heart of what we do, which is why we have some exciting plans to bring more of you to our ranch through small, intimate, invite-only events for our club members and email subscribers.

Sonoma is known around the world for its wine, but for us, it has become something even more meaningful. It’s home. It’s where we feel inspired, grounded, and continually reminded of why we fell in love with this industry in the first place.
