SacTown Dining Collective is a newly formed collection of Sacramento area restaurant owners, chefs, purveyors, and consultants dedicated to highlighting the depth and diversity the Sacramento food culture has to offer. Their intent is to innovate and pave the way for a vibrant local food culture, raise expectations and standards for our dining community in order for Sacramento to earn it's place as a recognized food city and dining destination.

An employment learning program for formerly homeless mothers with children, Plates Cafe provides women with a unique opportunity to learn valuable skills necessary to enter the culinary and service industries. Upon completion of the Plates program, graduates are qualified for positions in the culinary, retail and/or hospitality industries. Plates helps place them into careers in these industries.
